How to Raise Happy Kids 💙 From a perspective of a mom like me to celebrate Mother’s Day
If you have read my blog, you would have known that I have 2 kids. They are twins and will turn 13 this year. I have them when I was 31.
They are the greatest gifts and I feel so blessed to have them in my life.
Since they were born, my main mission is to make sure that they are happy and healthy; especially, within the first 7 years of their lives.
The first 7 years are crucial as their brains will absorb morals and beliefs that would stick with them throughout their whole lives.
My own personal tip is to let them “give” without wanting something in return. By giving, mostly I don’t mean giving things or money. Volunteering or helping others including animals and nature is my kind of giving.
Cr: Power of Positivity
By “giving” and “caring” for others sincerely, their brains will create endorphins, which is a natural chemical released from the brains.
Moreover, the act of giving and caring will stick with them throughout their whole lives.
Here is a Ted-Talk video from a mother who taught her son to give too:
There are tons of researches about the benefits of giving. It can lower your stress level, make you look younger, and boost your physical and mental health. You can read more from the references below:
Kindness and compassion can always warm everyone’s heart, both the givers and the receivers. Happy Mother’s Day, everyone. 💙💙
