In the 1980s, Air France accepted a deal with Cartier to retail the vermeil Must de Cartier watch line on board their Concorde jets in the in-flight gift shop.
The watches sold were applied with ‘Concorde’ markings and a French flag symbols on the dials. The rest of them remain is same as the boutique versions, ETA 2512 based and came with full box and papers. This example was made in 1988 and sold in 1988. A treasure of history before the aircraft production line was completely seized and the last flight ended in October 24th, 2003.
Better than the electric toothbrushes, lip balm and perfume as we see today!
