On January 11th, 2021, Burma Army shelled artillery around the T’ Kaw Der village, Keh Der village tract, Kler Lwee Htoo district, and villagers have to flee as a result. Villagers move from place to place and after three days, they reached Wah Tu Koh village. There were around 228 displaced people from 35 households there. Currently, they live in the forest and are concerned for shelter and food. Villagers do not dare to go back to their village to get food, because Burma Army soldiers are still present at Mu Thet road. A few days ago, Burma Army shelled artillery and injured one of Pa Kaw villager on his thigh. The injured villager received treatment from KNDO 3rd Company and recovered now. Villagers in Toh Htat village, Keh Der village tract also have to flee. Burma Army soldiers fired at villagers near Keh Der village but fortunately, none of the villagers get injured. There are around 710 displaced people at Toh Htat village, T’ Kaw Der village and Keh Der village, Keh Der village tract. Villagers from Keh Der village tract demand the immediate withdrawal of Burma Army camps from the territory in order to enable them to go back to their village and continue their livelihoods activities as usual.
