เมื่อวันที่5 มีนาคม 2021 KNU ได้ร่วมและปกป้องกลุ่มผู้ต่อต้านกองทัพรัฐประหาร ในเมืองผาอัน
KNU Brigade – 5 joined and protected the anti-military coup protestors in Hpa Pun region.
The indigenous people about 100,000 protest against the military coup movement with marching today around K’ter Tay (K’Tai Ti) in Kama Moe (Kama Maung) township.
One of Tamadaw troops tried to block the anti-military coup protestors, later they [Tamadaw] reopened after the negotiation.

ဆန္ဒဖော်ထုတ်နေတဲ့ ပြည်သူလူထုသပိတ်စစ်ကြောင်းကို ဖာပွန်မြို့က တပ်မတော်တပ်ရင်းတစ်ခုမှာ ပိတ်ဆို့မှုတွေ လုပ်ဆောင်ခဲ့ပေမယ့် ညှိနှိုင်းမှုတွေ လုပ်ဆောင်ပြီးတဲ့နောက် လမ်းပြန်လည်ဖွင့်ပေးခဲ့တယ်လို့ သိရပါတယ်။
