Because it's a truly universal problem of every worker on this planet that have to fight with Monday in every single week. Fortunately, you can turn yourself from "being killed" to "being a successful fighter" by applying simple techniques and adjust a little bit of your mindset
1. Write Everything Down
Make sure that you have to write things down on paper, not a digital device. Because writing on paper is fast and accurate, it can increase brain activity better than typing notes in your mobile phone. It helps to improve your memory and regain information more accurately, and, you can also bring the paper with you everywhere and use it anytime (research information please see Reference).
In addition, writing everything out can eliminate the fog of fear that comes from unambiguous things to do, which directly let your brain to process only important information and make decision to action immediately. So, there is no need to waste energy for trash thinking.
2. Spend time like a smart using Pomodoro technique 25/5
Pomodoro is invented by Francesco Cirillo, it's the model to let you focus on your work for 25 minute without interruptions and take a break for 5 minutes, this is called 1 Pomodoro. When you've done 4 Pomodoro, you can take a long break for 15-20 minutes.
This technique is one of the best to defeat boring day of work because it divides time to blocks which helps to reduce brain resistance to do things, make you know that time is valuable, mange result expectation in a loop and especially increase your productivity.
3. Have a gratitude mindset that "At least you have a job"
The important mindset that you should have in common, it is the ability to "Thank you" for everything. For example, "At least you have a job to do". It means you are capable of feeding yourself and your family while others may not have this kind of opportunities.
There's a useful technique to create mindset of gratitude is to change the word you say from "Have to" to "Get to", such as, "I have to work" to "I get to work" or "I have to go meeting" to "I get to go meeting"
By using positive words will stimulate frontal lobe activity which connects directly to the motor cortex responsible for moving you into action. It means you'll get to do things easier. From the research, the longer you concentrate on positive words, the more you begin to affect other areas of the brain, for example, functions in the parietal lobe start to change, which changes your perception of yourself and the people you interact with. A positive view of yourself will bias you toward seeing the good in others
The reason why most people feel so bad on Monday, it's because "They feel bad about themselves" for past stories. So, instead of getting down, we should get started to upgrade ourselves, better your every day and be the best for the next days.
