When unhappiness knocks on your door and says hello.
What can we do to maintain the balance of our mind? And not to make unwise choices, while having the turbulence state of mind.
Let me recommend some of my practical tips, that I have learned throughout my 40++ years of experiences.
Allowed yourselves to grief. Crying is a great opportunity to release pressure and emotional pains.
The next steps then will get hands on.
1.Acquire positive energies from others for example your love ones, friends or even from therapists. Even though your friends or your care givers might have strong insights about your life, but sometimes mental professionals might identify the underlying problems that arise from the physical or chemical factors, way better than your friends.
2.Distract yourself by creating the new hobbies and interests like doing sports, creating art, cooking, baking, watching action movies, or just simply trying to do the old things in a new way.
3.Stay away from your grief triggers. I would recommend you erase the playlist of sad songs and the song that might create the link back to your past. This will not delete memory but will bring the peace in your mind a bit faster (at least until you feel stronger).
4. Boost your happiness by helping others who are in need or turn back to your belief or philosophy. Small dose of happiness will heal your heart slowly (unfortunately, this process of healing might happen slowly than you thought, but surely it will).
But important things to keep in mind is: When you are emotionally burn out, avoid pushing yourself to make the decision on extremely complicated matters.
Wait until the turbulence has gone before picking yourself up and fix the issue.
Sometimes the happiness is not just about getting what you want, but the memories of the journey to success will make the achievement sweeter and more special to you.
