13102019...'the KILLING of a SACRED DEER' The story of 6 main characters; Steven surgeon doctor and Anna his wife also a doctor with Kim 12year-old-daughter and Bob their son. Martin 16year-old-teen who lost his father in Steven's operation and his mother. Steven met Martin very often behind Anna's back from his worried about Martin till one day he introduced him to his family. Martin quite closed to Kim till one day Steven warned him to kept distance but he refused and cursed Steven's family members after that many weird things happened to Steven's family. First Bob was bottom paralyzed as the same as Kim. Steven kidnapped Martin and locked him in the basement also tortured. Finally, Anna decided to free Martin after she knew the truth that Steven got drunk in Martin's father failure operation but it was too late coz Bob had eyes bleeding and dying. Steven lost his mind and set up a secred ritual in family's living room. He finally shot Bob to dead so that Kim recovered and walk again. Everybody stopped by Martin at the cafe again at the end with no talk just only frighten eye contacted and hurried left him away.
It's very hard to understand this Irish movie also the same director of Lobster. The story was very slow and lots&lots of conversations between all characters. Colin Farrel and Nicole Kidman didn't help the plots look easier. But love the scores of this film coz very excited sound. Conclusion of this movie are 'uncomfortable' and 'confused' feeling.
