• ตุ่มในภาพนี้คือ Eruptive Xanthoma ครับ
• เป็นตุ่มก้อนไขมันสีเหลืองขนาด 1-5 มม. เกิดขึ้นค่อนข้างรวดเร็ว Eruptive Xanthomaนี้มักพบบ่อยของตุ่มไขมันนี้ คือ ด้านextensor ของแขน ขา หรือ สะโพก
• Eruptive xanthoma มักพบในผู้ป่วยที่มีไขมันไตรกลีเซอไรด์ในเลือด (serum triglyceride levels) สูงอย่างมาก โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งสูงมากกว่า > 1,000 มก/ดล. (ค่าปกติคือ < 150)
