James Cash Penney was an American entrepreneur, businessman, and the owner of the JCPenney stores. The J.C. Penney Corporation, Inc., was founded in 1902, and its headquarters was in Texas. Moreover, this American retail store sells women's and men's products such as clothing, housewares, electronics, furniture, jewelry, cosmetics, etc. Regarding the history of the founder, Penny started his first job as a clerical worker in a general store. After that, he was recommended to be a one-third partnership because of his hardworking and strong work ethic.
Later, he established his own business ‘the J.C. Penney company’. In the beginning, JCP stores were set in the downtown zone, but when malls were ubiquitous, they were relocated around shopping mall areas. Also, their retail chains kept growing, and were considered stand-alone stores. In the middle of 2020, JCPenny was purchased by Brookfield Property Partners and Simon Property Group. Plus, the headquarters wasn’t in Texas anymore, and until now there is still no official announcement where it will be moved.
Dennis Waitley is an American speaker and writer. He was well-known for his best-selling audio series, such as Seeds of Greatness, and The Winner’s Edge. Waitley was inducted into the hall of fame of international speakers. His career began with the financial public relations representative, then he was offered to be a fundraiser at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies. One day, he recorded some of the audiotapes at the church, when he released them, he sold his audiotape for 2 million copies. The audiotapes are known as The Psychology of Winning helps him succeed. Waitley released many books afterward, including Safari to the Soul, The Psychology of Winning for Women, The Joy of Working, etc.
