ชมความงดงามของดอกเอเดลไวส์ในประเทศไทยได้แล้ว เป็นครั้งแรก

พระราชทานพระราชดำรัสให้กำลังใจแก่เจ้าหน้าที่โครงการหลวง และได้พระราชทานเมล็ดพันธุ์ให้แก่มูลนิธิโครงการหลวง เมื่อวันที่ ๑๑ พฤษภาคม ๒๕๖๒ เพื่อให้คนไทยได้ชื่นชมความงดงามของดอกเอเดลไวส์ในประเทศไทยได้

มูลนิธิโครงการหลวงฯ ได้ดำเนินการขยายพันธ์ุจนแข็งแรงและมีระบบรากที่สมบูรณ์ ซึ่งใช้เวลา ๒ เดือน ซึ่งพบว่าสามารถเจริญเติบโตและปรับตัวเข้ากับสภาพแวดล้อมในพื้นที่ ขณะนี้สามารถเจริญเติบโตได้ในประเทศไทย ที่สถานีดอยอินทนนท์
ซึ่ง อุทยานหลวงราชพฤกษ์ได้จัดแสดงดอกเอเดลไวส์ให้นักท่องเที่ยวทุกท่านได้ชมความสวยงาม ตลอดเดือนมิถุนายน ๒๕๖๖ ที่เรือนไม้ดอก อุทยานหลวงราชพฤกษ์ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่
