Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has announced that he has brokered a deal to deescalate tensions and end the mutiny by PMC Wagner, in exchange for ‘security guarantees.’
‘The President of Belarus… in agreement with the President of Russia, held talks with the head of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin. ‘As a result, they came to agreements on the inadmissibility of unleashing a bloody massacre on the territory of Russia,’ Lukashenko said, via a statement from his office.
The deal was confirmed by Prigozhin in a voice message, who said that he would turn his column back and return to their bases, as going any further would be the point where ‘blood can be spilled.’
📍Prigozhin accepted proposal to stop the movement of Wagner PMCs in Russia and take further step to de-escalate tensoins after President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, in agreement with the President of Russia, held talks with Prigozhin, the press service of Belarusian president said.

Alexander Lukashenko’s press service has reported that Yevgeny Prigozhin accepted a proposal to stop the Wagner movement inside Russia, and to take further steps to de-escalate tensions.
According to Lukashenko, there is currently a draft to resolve the situation with the PMC, which includes security guarantees for its fighters
