Shade of Life

Little foggy clouds in my head
Covering up my eyes with tightened thread
As if it was afraid to shred
Making me see through one side bloodshed
A setting where I see a tiny little bit of mortal creatures
Staring down at my features
As if it was some preacher
Wondering how could I be so blind
Blinding eyes in my beacon of light
I’m looking at their brightness night
As if they didn’t have much to fight
Little did I know they have face many frostbite
A freezing cold that lingers for days
Making them in dazes
As if their life was in grays
But soon their bloodshed was faded
Faded into something called growth
Starting to engrave itself in an oath
A promise to stop the loath
And finally fulfill the journey for both
Hello, my love. I’m back after a long period of absence. I’ve been dealing with a lot of things, and it took me a while to realise how much recharging time I need. Moreover, it is also essential to remind myself how far I have come. After all these years, all the obstacles and challenges that have come and gone It’s such a profound journey.
At that time, I felt inspired to write this poem. We’re all forgetting how everyone was struggling with their lives and their own challenges. Besides, we were too focused on their achievements.
This poem was made to remind us that there are more than one perspective in our mortal lives. Maybe something we see is not what we once thought. Those people we felt jealous about might have thousands of silent battles in their hearts. We too have been through a lot of things, so please be kind to one another.
Love 🐳🐋🫶🏻❤️
