The Impact of Hikmah Pedagogy on 21st Century Skills
Hikmah Pedagogy is a variation of P4C and was introduced in Malaysia in the year 2002. Hikmah means encompasses wisdom, knowledge about the proper or exact position of something (manners), good judgement, natural capabilities to understand a thing, knowledge of the entire experience life; attitudes, beliefs or wise actions; the teachings of the ancient sages (including the prophets) and the ability to view internal quality and connections.
God gives Wisdom to
whom He pleases. And he to whom wisdom is granted receive overflowing benefits.

Yusoff et al. (2018) conducted when students were provided with the opportunity to ask questions related to the given stimulus materials and express their opinions within the dialogic approach of Hikmah Pedagogy, they exhibited the ability to give reason well, engage in metacognition, display empathy and collaborative thinking.
It showed that HP promotes the development of their communication skills. Also, HP can help students improve 21st century skills; especially speaking and listening, reasoning, metacognition, the community of inquiry, and open mindedness.
