Refers to the diverse cultural, intellectual, scientific, and social achievements of societies that have been influenced by Islam. At its core, Islamic civilization is rooted in the Islamic faith, which centers around the belief in one (Allah) and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad as conveyed in the Quran and Hadith (sayings and actions of the Prophet).
