Islamic Civilization

Islamic civilization refers to the diverse cultural, intellectual, scientific, and social achievements of societies that have been influenced by Islam. It is considered as dark age because it is the prosperous era of Islam but it was the Dark Ages of Europe. It is well known as the Islamic Golden Age. This era is full of stories of pioneers, discoveries and inventions.
Here are some inventions that has created by scholars of Islam by this following :
  • Al-Jazari is an engineer who invented the elephant clock.
  • Ibn Al Hytham is a scientist whose ideas led to the invention of camera.
  • Abbas Ibn Firnas is a scientist who known as father of aviation, his ideas led to the invention of airplane.
  • Abul Qassim Al-Zahrawi is a surgeon who invented the surgical tools that still using by doctors till present
  • Mariam Al-Astrulabi was a well-known scientist of astrolabes.
To sum up, it is a period in the history of Islam, traditionally dated from the 8th century to the 13th century, during which much of the historically Islamic world was ruled by various caliphates and science, economic development, and cultural works flourished. It has left a big impact on the history of humanity. It helped grow knowledge, culture, and how we live together. Its influence isn't just for one religion but it affects everyone and still affects the world today in many different ways.
