THE PRESENT STATE OF THOUGHT
Three basic approaches can be identified:
1. The “authentic” or “traditionalist” approach

2. The “modernistic” approach
contemporary western thought and its worldview to be universal
3. The “eclectic” approach
one must select from traditional thought that which is most sound and from modern contemporary thought that which one considers and proves to be correct
