🔓Why do you think some words don’t have direct translations in other languages ?
1. Some words are tied to specific cultural practices, traditions or concepts that don’t exist in other language.
2. Different languages have varying grammatical structures and word forms, making it challenging to find direct equivalents.
3. New concepts or technologies may not have intermediate translations in all languages.
4. Some words capture specific emotions or experiences that may not be prevalent in other cultures.
For instance ;
“ชาวนา” 🌾: this term refers to rural farmers who engage in rice cultivation. While you can translate it as “Farmer” it doesn’t fully capture the cultural and economic significance of rice farming in Thailand .
