ร่วมกันจัดกิจกรรมเนื่องในเดือนยุติความรุนแรงต่อสตรีสากล 25 พฤศจิกายน ของทุกปี ออกแถลงการณ์ และยื่นหนังสือถึงเลขาธิการสหประชาชาติ

แถลงการณ์
องค์การสหประชาชาติต้องหามาตรการและกลไกอย่างเร่งด่วน
เพื่อ...หยุดสงคราม หยุดความรุนแรง เพื่อสันติภาพของโลก เพื่อสันติสุขของประชาชน

องค์การสันนิบาติชาติ (League of Nation) ถูกจัดขึ้นเพื่อรักษาสันติภาพของโลก หลังสิ้นสุดสงครามโลกครั้งที่หนึ่ง ในปี ค.ศ.1919 (พ.ศ.2462) และในคราวเดียวกันก็ได้ก่อตั้ง “องค์การแรงงานระหว่างประเทศ (International Labour Organization : ILO) เพื่อปกป้องคุ้มครองแรงงานไม่ให้ถูกเกณฑ์เข้าสู่สงคราม
แต่ด้วยเงื่อนไขความเปลี่ยนทางด้านเศรษฐกิจ การเมือง และการแสวงหาอำนาจของประเทศจักรวรรดิ จนละเมิดกฎเกณฑ์พันธะสัญญาทำให้สันนิบาตชาติไม่สามารถทำหน้าที่ตามเจตนารมณ์ที่ก่อตั้งได้จึงถูกยุบเลิกไป ต่อมาในปี ค.ศ.1945 (พ.ศ. 2488) หลังสงครามครั้งสองก็ได้มีการก่อตั้ง “องค์การสหประชาชาติ (United Nation : UN)” ขึ้นมาใหม่มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อรักษาสันติภาพของโลกและความมั่นคงระหว่างประเทศ การพัฒนาความสัมพันธ์สมานฉันท์ระหว่างประเทศ
กว่า 100 ปีของการก่อตั้งองค์การเพื่อรักษาสันติภาพของโลก เพื่อให้ประชากรโลกอยู่กันอย่างสันติสุข ความเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านเศรษฐกิจ ภายใต้ระบบเศรษฐกิจแบบทุนเสรีนิยมส่งผลให้เกิดความเหลื่อมล้ำสูงอย่างไม่เคยปรากฏมาก่อน อีกทั้งการเมืองระหว่างประเทศ การแย่งชิงอำนาจ ทรัพยากรของประเทศมหาอำนาจทั้งหลายส่งผลให้เกิดการเผชิญหน้า
ความรุนแรง การก่อการร้าย และเกิดสงครามในเกือบทั่วทุกภูมิภาคของโลกประชาชนจำนวนมาก ทั้งเด็ก สตรี คน ชรา ที่ต้องสังเวยชีวิต รวมทั้งความเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศโลกจากสภาวะโลกร้อน การครอบครองผูกขาดอาหารของกลุ่มทุนข้ามชาติขนาดใหญ่ทำให้ประชากรส่วนส่วนใหญ่อดอยาก หิวโหย คุณภาพชีวิตเลวร้ายลงทุกวัน
สถานการณ์ปัจจุบัน ค.ศ.2023 การเผชิญหน้าความรุนแรง การก่อการร้าย และ สงคราม ทั้งในยุโรประหว่างประเทศรัสเซีย กับยูเครนและนาโต้ แอฟริกา สงครามในประเทศไนเจอร์ ประเทศซูดาน ทวีปเอเชีย
ในตะวันออกกลางการปะทะกันระหว่างอิสราเอล กับ กลุ่มฮามาส และในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ประเทศเมียนมาร์ระหว่างกองกำลังรัฐบาลและกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ ล้วนแล้วแต่สงผลให้ประชาชนผู้บริสุทธิ์ คนงาน เด็ก สตรี และคนชราต้องบาดเจ็บพิการ เสียชีวิต เป็นจำนวนมาก
โดยเฉพาะการใช้อาวุธถล่มโรงพยาบาลในฉนวนกาซ่าซึ่งเป็นสถานที่รักษา ดูแลผู้บาดเจ็บจากสงคราม แพทย์ พยาบาล ต้องสูญเสียชีวิต เป็นสิ่งไม่อาจยอมรับได้ และขอประณามการกระทำที่ต่ำช้า ป่าเถื่อน
ในเดือนแห่งการยุติความรุนแรงซึ่ง “องค์การสหประชาชาติกำหนดให้ วันที่ 25 พฤศจิกายน ของทุกปีเป็นวันยุติความรุนแรงต่อสตรีสากล” สมาพันธ์สมานฉันท์แรงงานไทย (สสรท.) สมาพันธ์แรงงานรัฐวิสาหกิจสัมพันธ์(สรส.) ขอเรียกร้องให้องค์การสหประชาชาติใช้มาตรการ ความสามารถ ใช้ประสบการณ์ตั้งแต่การเป็นสันนิบาติชาติจนมาเป็นองค์การสหประชาชาติ สร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศและพัฒนากลไก กฎเกณฑ์ พันธสัญญาระหว่างประเทศที่ตกลงกันอย่างเร่งด่วนเพื่อ
“ยุติสงคราม หยุดความรุนแรง
เพื่อสันติภาพของโลก เพื่อสันติสุขของประชาชน” ก่อนที่ความรุนแรง การก่อการร้าย และสงคราม จะขยายวงเกินกว่าที่จะควบคุมได้ซึ่งหมายถึงหายนะของโลก หายนะของประชาชน

Statement
The United Nations must urgently develop measures and mechanisms
to stop war and violence for world peace and people’s happiness

The League of Nations was established to maintain world peace after the end of World War I in 1919 and at the same time ‘International Labor Organization (ILO)’ was founded to protect workers from being conscripted into war. Conditions of economic and political change, and the colonialism made the Treaty violated, resulting in the League of Nations being unable to fulfill the founding intentions.
The League of Nations reached its abolition in 1945 after the second war and “United Nations (UN)” was established with the objective of maintaining world peace and international security including developing international relations.
More than 100 years since the founding of the Leage of Nations to maintain world peace, economic changes under the liberal capitalist economy have resulted in unprecedented levels of inequality. International politics and the fight for power and resources among the great powers result in confrontations, violences, and terrorism.
Wars have been occurred in almost every region of the world. Many people, including children, women, and the elderly, had to sacrifice their lives. Climate change caused by global warming and the monopoly of food by large multinational corporations has brought the majority of the population a famine, deteriorating the quality of life.
Currently, in 2023, violences, terrorism and wars were occurred globally. For example, the war between Russia and Ukraine and NATO in Europe, the wars in Niger and Sudan in Africa, the clash between Israel and the Hamas group in Asia, the Middle East, and the fight between the government and ethnic groups in Myanmar, the Southeast Asia.
Many civilians including workers, children, women and the elderly were injured, disabled, or killed. The attack of hospitals in Gaza Strip which is the place for healing patients from war, causing the death of doctors and nurses, is unacceptable and we condemn this depraved and barbaric action.
The 25th November of every year has designated by the United Nations to be the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Therefore, in the month of anti-violence, the Thai Labor Solidarity Confederation (TLSC) and the State Enterprises Workers’ Relations Confederation (SERC)
would like to call on the United Nations to urgently find measures to create cooperation between countries and develop mechanisms to create international commitments to “stop the war and violences for world peace and people's happiness” before the violences, terrorism and wars will expand beyond control which means disaster for the world and its people.
