Prosecutor says Thaksin is seriously ill, and has a rotator cuff injury, says Phumtham

The Director-General of the Attorney General’s Office of Criminal Cases (OAG) reported that Thaksin was seriously ill and was sitting in a wheelchair. And Thaksin was ordered to return to the OAG to hear the decision on the case. The senior prosecutor also insisted that Thaksin had a rotator cuff injury.
Today (19 Feb 2024) Preecha Sudsa-nguan, director-general of the OAG’s Office of Criminal Cases, answered reporters’ questions about Thaksin, appearing to hear the decision of the Article 112 case, and told about Thaksin’s health that
I saw with my eyes that Thaksin was seriously ill and was sitting in a wheelchair.
Preecha also said that Thaksin had a hoarse voice, so he was genuinely ill. And for a surgical-operation question, Preecha answered that Thaksin did not wear a splint on his neck, but he seemed to be lame.
Thaksin appeared at the OAG with his confidant, not with his daughter, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Preecha said. He either did not know who the bailman was. It was only a 30 minute meeting with the attorney.
And on April 10, Thaksin was summoned to hear the verdict: suing, exculpating, or prolonging.
The OAG’s spokesman, Prayut Petchkhun, said that Thaksin had been released on bail in a bond of 5 hundred thousand baht from a bank deposit. And his bank account was confiscated during his ongoing special parole.
Thaksin and his rotator cuff injury
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce Phumtham Wechayachai told reporters that Thaksin was genuinely ill because he once underwent an operation and it took too long to recover, so he believed that Thaksin was ill. Moreover, an illness normally happens to the 70-year-old elderly, Phumtham said.
