On 1st World Elephant Songkran

Pay homage to the three monks and rectors of the temple,
His Excellency Dr Sandor Sipos, Hungarian ambassador to
Thailand, with great respect.
My people, on behalf of the members of the House of Representatives, Surin Province, district 6(Miss Phakamat Chareonphan), Member of the Surin Provincial House of Representatives, District 3 (Mr. Lamlert Phuapattanachot),
Vice Mayor of the Surin Provincial Administrative Organization (Somsak Ruampattana), Tha Tum District Chief (Miss Wanpen Hansamuer), Director of the Elephant Kingdom Center (Mr. Kritikun Krithapon),
along with representatives of Guru Mahouts, local philosopher (Mr. Thawatchai Sala-ngam) and my name is (Prof. Dr. Achara Phanurat) on behalf of the president of The foundation of Cultural Heritage Promotion of Surin Province. I would like to report that ...
Today is an important day for Thai people because it is the day of the enthronement of the Thai King Rama Ist. It is the first king of the current Thai dynasty.
And is the month of Songkran, which means the start of the Thai New Year. And this Songkran tradition is related to the legend of the elephant being the vehicle of Songkran Lady on Thursday.
Therefore, it is appropriate to have the 1st World Elephant Songkran for Cultural Ecology Festival activity.
This place is the Lam Chi Mun River Basin, it flows from the Phanom Dongrek mountain and Dong Phayayen mountain to meet here , bordering two provinces, as if it were the birthplace of domestic elephants.
This wonderland is where the problem is solved to solve of wild elephants and many tribes being unable to live and find food
on the Phanom Dong Rek mountain range, which is dangerous with landmines due to the Guerrilla war, the Cold War, the Genocidal war and the Civil war respectively.(1954-2017)
These interesting facts are of interest to all countries around the world. We are pleased to find partner with the human and elephant communities of the Lam Chi Mun Basin. Thank you to the members of the Surin Provincial House of Representatives,
Governor of Surin Province, Heads of government agencies, barons, local scholars and the elephant herder community that pay homage to H.E.Hungarian Ambassador and give a warm welcome to him.
Now is the right time may invite His Excellency to open the 1st World Elephant Songkran Festival.
