Declaration of the elephant as a symbol of world peace.

........6 April 2024, Ah Chiang Forest Temple , Nong Bua community, Kingdom of Elephants Center, Tha Tum District, Surin Provincial Administrative Organization, Surin Province, Members of the Surin Provincial House of Representatives District 3 and District 6
and The Foundation of Cultural Heritage Promotion of Surin Province, jointly organized an event gathering 104 international folk dancers and folkloric artists from Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Hungary, India, Japan, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
To proclaim the elephant as a symbol of world peace which was honored by His Excellency Dr. Sandor Sipos, Ambassador of Hungary to Thailand, to preside over the opening ceremony of the World Elephant Songkran Festival and the International Academic Seminar on Human and Elephant Cultural Ecology. @Wat Pa Ah Chiang, Surin. And awarded plaques and certificates to 50 local philosophers, mahouts, artists, and outstanding moral personalities.
In addition, the community demonstrated Songkran with elephants, namely elephants that spray water and the tradition of watering the Buddha, monks and elders respectively.
The Foundation organizes an international folklore festival with artists from 12 countries performing. To reflect the image of folklore for elephants and peace .
Therefore, it is an empirical work that this land uses Soft Power surrounds the body and mind of local people and visitors with safety and brotherhood between both elephants and people.
.......The results of such work have an influence and are a good sign at the Thailand Tourism Office of Surin organizes coordinated activities on 7-14 April 2024, thus expanding the results for youth to learn to create meaningful energy on leisure and vacation. Increase love for each other and love differences too.
