Meet Pieter van der Deen - an expert AI engineer from Belgium! 🇧🇪 🤖
Pieter's AI adventure started with his teenage fascination for computers. This drove him to pursue a degree in Electronics and ICT, majoring in Artificial Intelligence.
🌟 During his time in University, he spent 4 months as an intern at a Belgian startup where he dabbled in building automation tools and chatbots using large language models (LLMs).
This hands-on experience fueled his passion even more, propelling him into a full-time AI Engineer role with enthusiasm and expertise!
👨💻 Some of his work included automating email writing to create dynamic, human-sounding messages and transferring text from paper to digital databases.
Additionally, he developed a negotiator bot to help companies negotiate prices with potential clients, saving time and increasing the success rate of negotiations.
We're proud to have Pieter as our first AI engineer. He's new to Thailand but has already fallen in love with Thai food and Bangkok's vibrant city vibe.
💻 Pieter primarily works with European clients, managing AI software explanations, advising on capabilities, sales, client interactions, and technical planning.
Pieter said ‘ As an AI Engineer,I find the role incredibly rewarding and challenging in the software world. Having an AI Engineer helps businesses work more easily and efficiently. We can solve specific problems and provide different solutions.’
