Richmond park

1 Richmond Park : Southwest of London in the Borough of Richmond upon Thames 15.11.24

I went out today by myself. Richmond Park was my plan. Since I got a very useful wildlife book from Tom, my autumn's journey has begun.
Richmond park is located in the southwest of London. It is completely at the opposite of London from my house but the journey is well worth it. This park has a reputation in that you can see lots of deers and it is one of Britain's top sites for ancient trees. It is highly recommended for children also. Some of the trees are estimated to be over 800 years old, which is older than the Ayutthaya period. 😄
England has the most well preserved and abundant wildlife, even in London and this is why I still love England. I had a great time in Richmond Park and I walked for more than four hours. I saw both male and female wild deers. They usually do stay separate, only in the rutting season which is now in Autumn. Today I saw two big groups of deers.
Autumn is known as mating season, so I saw a few male deers trying to get the attention of the females. The male has a longhorn, which looks more elegant.
I can't believe it is in London. I did a long exploration today. Super fun!
I took a break, having some lunch that I made at home. All the food got cold and the spoon even colder but the view that I had from a small bench that I was sitting on, on top of a little hill and looking over among the trees and Pen Ponds made me enjoy it and the cold food did not bother me at all.
After a long walk, I had decided to go to the Thai shop on the way home so I took a bus and walked along the River Thames via Hammersmith Bridge at sunset. Hammersmith Bridge was designed by Sir Joseph Bazalgette, built in 1887. During 1939 the bridge was bombed but this was unsuccessful.
There are many picturesque views when you walk along the bridge. What another beautiful end of autumn! History is everywhere here.
