DCI Center for Buddhist Studies, under the supervision of Dhammachai Institute Foundation, is a charity organization which engages in education activities and research on Buddhism. The purpose of this organization is to support educational opportunities and provide training activities for monk and novice students.
This includes educational activities to support the academic, moral and cultural development of the youth and other people who are interested in Buddhist studies. The institute is currently located next to the Chao Phraya River in Bang Ban District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya. Since opening, in 1998, this organization has been providing academic courses for a Bachelor of Arts in Buddhist Studies program.
Become the academic center of Theravada Buddhist Studies at international stage, also to create enthusiastic scholars with knowledge and practical skills, including the skills of proactive propagation in order to ensure the sustainability of Buddhism in the future.
Manage the educational system with the qualified standard at the international level, to create Buddhist monks with the ability, skills, morals and ideology to propagate Buddhism worldwide in the future.
Provide supporting academic research opportunities in Buddhism at national and international levels.
Provide services on academic works, support for Buddhist propagation, and help creating a volunteer mindset to improve the stability within local households, Buddhist temples and schools.
Conserve Thai cultures in various fields by focusing on conservation, rehabilitation, continuation and propagation.
Create the mindset of environmental conservation and sustainability.
To support academic, moral and cultural development in Buddhist studies for monks, novices and other people who are interested in Buddhist studies.
